Created in 2017, the goal of the Fire Service Grant Program is to advance the use of science and technology by fire departments in the New England region for use in and community education of fire prevention, preparedness, and control efforts.
Applicants must be a governmental unit of a city, town, county, state, commonwealth or fire district in the New England region (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) that supports fire prevention and funds must be used for public purposes.
Past funding has been awarded for:
Donations from our sponsors and attendance at our monthly dinner meetings and annual seminar, allows the New England Chapter to award $4,000 to 8,000 annually, with individual awards ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.
