November Meeting - New Technology Night - Fire Alarm and Notification Systems

Abstract:
This year we will try a new format for some of our dinner meetings where four manufacturers will showcase their newest technology. The November meeting will be the first of this new format and will focus on the new technology from several of the leading fire alarm manufacturers.

The evening will begin with networking and time to discuss and catch a glimpse of the newest fire alarm products that the following manufacturers have to offer from SimplexGrinnell, Siemens, Notifier, and EST Fire & Security. As part of this meeting, each company will showcase their newest and best products as a mini-trade show. After dinner the representatives from each of the companies will provide a short presentation on their latest releases and also provide an insight into the ongoing research/future products. After the presentations there will be time to view the products and ask question of the manufacturers.

Bio:
Siemens will discuss factors impacting the mass notification market; including drivers, codes and technologies. The Siemens Team will also provide an interactive demonstration of an operating Mass Notification System platform.

EST Fire & Security will be presenting some of our latest Mass Notification Products.

SimplexGrinnell will present an overview of the new Simplex CO Sensor, a multi-purpose device with capabilities for CO toxic gas sensing, enhanced fire detection and high value/high risk applications.

Notifier will be presenting information on their Digital Voice Communication capabilities and Mass Notification (Emergency Communication Systems) capabilities. In addition, they will be presenting their new technology: Onyx First Vision (touch screen graphical annunciator for use by first responders).
