This 60-minute program will provide an overview of fire alarm and smoke control system requirements for high-rise buildings in accordance with the IBC, NFPA 92, and NFPA 72. Key topics include:

Speaker Bios:

Leonard Belliveau, Jr. is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Protection Engineers, LLC in Worcester, MA, with over 25 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and commissioning fire protection systems. He is a Principal Member and Secretary of the SIG-PRO technical committee for NFPA 72 and has been a Principal Member on NFPA 76 for over 24 years. Leonard also serves as the co-chair of the AFAA Webinar Topics and Presenter Task Group and is on the Board of Directors for the New England Chapter of the AFAA. He has contributed to several editions of the NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code Handbook and the NFPA Fire Protection Handbook.

Eric Camiel is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with Jensen Hughes and the director of their Boston and Westborough, MA offices. With over 15 years of experience in fire protection engineering and code consulting, Eric holds Professional Fire Protection Engineering licenses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He serves as a Principal on NFPA 72’s Protected Premises Fire Alarm and Signaling Systems Technical Committee. His expertise includes designing and commissioning complex fire alarm systems, mass notification systems, and specialized fire alarm system integrations, collaborating with architects, developers, and AHJs to ensure compliance and approval.
