Join us on November 2nd for a presentation by Michael Manning of AVSG LP and Wesley Hansen of Nuvera Fuel Cells.  Mike and Wes will be providing a crash course on the six alternative transportation fuels recognized by the US DOE.  Mike will discuss the CNG market, including a discussion of CNG stations and CNG powered vehicles.  He will highlight the safety and fire protection issues associated with CNG, including a review of substantial changes to CNG station permitting in Massachusetts that took effect at the start of 2015.  Wes will then provide a similar review of the hydrogen fuel cell market, including a discussion of the safety and fire protection issues associated with filling stations.  A 2012 CNG Honda Civic GX will be parked outside of the Four Points!

Mike Manning is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at AVSG LP in Boston.  He has worked in the alternative fuels industry since the mid-1990s.  Since 2008, he has been responsible for expanding the use of CNG in both "on-road" and "off-road" vehicle markets throughout New England.  Wes Hansen is a Senior Manager for Hydrogen Generation Products at Nuvera, most recently leading sales activities for the company.  He has held a variety of engineering positions before his position as sales manager, offering extensive experience in PEM fuel cell and fuel processing system design and development.
